MFG Medien- und Filmgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg mbH (MFG) is a public agency by the State of Baden-Württemberg and Südwestrundfunk (SWR). MFG’s mission is to support film culture and the film industry, including animation and visual effects, as well as to promote the cultural and creative industries, including games. The MFG Filmförderung division focuses on providing project funding, while the MFG Kreativ division is dedicated to advisory, networking, and mediation services for the cultural and creative industries, with a special emphasis on digital culture. Additionally, MFG advises and supports projects in the areas of media literacy and state-wide online initiatives.
As part of a planned succession due to retirement, MFG is looking to appoint a new Managing Director (f/m/d) as of July 1, 2026.
