FMX, Europe’s largest conference on media & entertainment creation, returns to 4 days on site in the center of Stuttgart in April 2024. The program will then be made available online via video on demand until the end of May. In presentations, discussions, workshops and masterclasses, FMX brings the latest and greatest topics, projects and personalities from around the world to the stage and offers numerous networking opportunities. In this way, it not only brings important players from the international community to Stuttgart, but also presents the high level of expertise of the media region to professionals and students from around the world.

With its theme ‘Connecting Ideas’, FMX 2024 sheds a light on digital platforms, open standards and other initiatives for open exchange that make collaboration between media professionals easier, more efficient, and more creative.

In three exhibition rooms, international hardware, software and content providers exhibit their products and services, national and international animation and VFX studios will look for new employees, and international film and media programs will present themselves to prospective students interested in a career in the creative industries.

With its international yet intimate atmosphere, FMX offers professionals and students a unique platform to learn and share insights on the latest art, technology and business in film and media production.

FMX is organized by the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg. It is funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and Arts and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the City of Stuttgart, and MFG Baden-Wuerttemberg.
