Founded in 1994, Mackevision specializes in computergenerated imagery (CGI), including 3D visualizations, animation, and visual effects. Headquartered in Stuttgart, the company today comprises 550 employees, with subsidiaries in Detroit, Hamburg, London, Munich, Beijing, Seoul, and Shanghai. Mackevision designs and produces top-quality single-image projects, feature films, tv projects, and interactive media apps. Mackevision’s Visual Effects Department was established in 2013, specializing in feature films and tv productions, along with high-end commercials. Over the years, Mackevision has continuously expanded its team, which now boasts top-class, award-winning staff from the feature film industry. Today, 70 VFX artists comprise the visual effects team, which includes an Emmy Award winner and eight VES Award winners.
