With the theme /imagine, the eleventh edition of “Raumwelten – Platform for Scenography, Architecture and Media” will take place from November 16 to 18, 2022. The Raumwelten organizers from the Film und Medienfestival gGmbH are breaking new ground in 2022: The leading industry event for spatial communication in Germany will be held in the Raumwelten VR Hub, a digital multi-user experience accessible on mobiles, desktop and in virtual reality. Visitors and attendees can join from anywhere in the world – easily accessable and free of charge. By expanding the project in cyberspace, the event is to experience a significant internationalization, while also offering special opportunities for the regional public. The Raumwelten VR Hub will be enhanced by a pop-up exhibition at the Ludwigsburg Museum, allowing visitors to experience virtual reality on site. The new direction in 2022 will be supported by the new curator Allison Crank, an Award-winning American UX Designer and researcher, who is focusing Raumwelten this year on the theme of immersion and online social experiences that embrace the virtual medium.
