Futuromundo Cross Innovation Festival & Cyberländ Futuromundo 2026

Stuttgart will once again become a meeting point for changemakers and future shapers from across Europe on June 25 and 26, 2026. At the FUTUROMUNDO Cross Innovation Festival, around 150 international speakers will come together across five conferences to discuss key challenges of the future and develop practical solutions. The interdisciplinary festival brings together stakeholders from business, education, politics, and technology, offering inspiring and hands-on insights for the transformation of companies, organizations, and educational institutions. The event will take place at venues including the Liederhalle and the Haus der Wirtschaft. The program will be complemented by open-format events held throughout Stuttgart’s city center.


CYBERLÄND FUTUROMUNDO 2026 is the conference on the future of immersive technologies (June 26, 2026 | Haus der Wirtschaft | Content partners: MFG Baden-Württemberg & Acameo). Members of the AMCRS will also be involved, contributing their expertise and perspectives to the program.

In the MFG Clubhouse “CO & VISION”, the funding program CO.VISION meets the open festival space of FUTUROMUNDO. Over two days, the practical application of cross innovation becomes tangible: CO-partnerships from Baden-Württemberg provide insights into their pilot projects, their collaborations, and their next development steps. About Next Conference, June 13, 2026

As part of the About Pop Festival & Convention 2026 (June 12-13, 2026), About Next will take place on June 13 – a sub-conference bringing together the creative industries, start-ups, technology, and innovation.

About Next creates space for exchange, new collaborations, and fresh impulses between the creative scene, businesses, and the public sector. At its core are the opportunities of a strong regional innovation ecosystem in which creative and entrepreneurial skills work hand in hand. Expect panels, talks, workshops, and best-practice formats on current topics such as new business models, digital sovereignty, community building, and sustainable cultural work. About Next highlights how creative industries are increasingly becoming a driving force for transformation, economic development, and regional attractiveness. Following the program, a get-together in the networking area with food and drinks invites participants to connect and exchange ideas.

The format was initiated by Wirtschaftsförderung Region Stuttgart GmbH together with MFG Baden-Württemberg, the City of Stuttgart, and the companies HearDis!, and Gold und Wirtschaftswunder.

As part of About Next, MFG Baden-Württemberg will present the workshop “Creative Collaboration – Wie stärkt Brückenkompetenz cross-innovative Zusammenarbeit?“ featuring Mira Kleine, Project Manager for Entrepreneurial Action. The workshop explores how bridging competencies can strengthen collaboration across different disciplines and industries, with a focus on new perspectives for cross-innovative processes between the creative industries, technology, and other economic sectors.

AMCRS are FMX 2026 Gold Partner!

We, the Animation Media Creators Region Stuttgart, are beyond excited and very proud to be the first GOLD PARTNER of FMX 2026! At FMX – Film & Media Exchange, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, an outstanding program awaits you from May 5-7, 2026, at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart – this time under the theme “THE ROAD AHEAD.”

On May 8, the program continues with the “On Campus” segment. True to the motto “FMX is coming home!”, events will take place at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and its Animationsinstitut, featuring a special program with a focus on talent and education. Online, a full day of exclusive sessions awaits you on May 8 on the website of FMX www.fmx.de.

Many of the presentations will be available online on demand from May 9 to June 9.

Stuttgart Animated Week 2025 – Programs and Trailers

Only a few weeks to go until the Stuttgart Animated Week 2025 – and we can’t wait! The teams behind the conference FMX – Film & Media Exchange (May 6–9, 2025), the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (May 6–11, 2025), and the industry platform Animation Production Days (APD, May 6–8, 2025) are in the midst of preparations to once again turn Stuttgart into a global hotspot for the animation and VFX industry this spring.

The FMX recently released its program, which contains the large variety of topics the conference stands for and adresses the latest and hottest in VFX, animation and digital media production.

We, the Animation Media Creators Region Stuttgart, are beyond excited and very proud to be a GOLD PARTNER of FMX 2025! This year, from May 6 to May 9, 2025, FMX – Film & Media Exchange will offer an outstanding program on-site at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart – this time under the motto “RHYTHM OF CHANGE”. A large portion of the presentations will also be available online on demand from May 10 to June 10.

FMX 2024 Highlights

“Zeit für Innovation” Conference on November 15, 2023

On November 15, 2023, the conference “Zeit für Innovation” (Time for Innovation) and the presentation of the IDEENSTARK Award 2023 will take place at the Im Wizemann in Stuttgart.

The conference is dedicated to the topics of time and innovation. One doesn’t work without the other: Every innovation requires time, and our time demands innovations. Keynote speakers and (creative) companies are invited to present and discuss new possibilities for increasing innovation and exploring time models in the future workplace through impulse lectures and interactive sessions. Additionally, various thematic sessions provide the opportunity for active exchange and exploration.

In the evening, the event is followed by the IDEENSTARK award ceremony. The program will be moderated by Kimsy von Reischach with musical support from DJ 5ter Ton (Massive Töne).
