All players in the film industry of the southwest region are welcome to take part. The Landesfilmschau is often referred to as the showcase of the southwest’s film and media scene. Integrated into the Filmschau is the independent Jugendfilmpreis, which gives young filmmakers from the southwest a chance to shine – with a big screen and a live audience. Nicknamed the “Jufi”, the youth section will begin on December 4, 2025, and will conclude with a major awards ceremony on December 7, 2025, at the Altes Schloss in Stuttgart, where the Baden-Württemberg Film Awards, the Baden-Württemberg Honorary Film Award, and the Jugendfilmpreis will be presented.
