Sommerfest 2025 at Merz Akademie

Our CREATORS from Merz Akademie warmly invite you to their Sommerfest on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 14:00 to 22:00 CET! Join them in celebrating their graduates and the end of the semester on the Merz Akademie campus. Look forward to a summer day in the park with exhibitions, performances, delicious food, and music. Featuring the graduation exhibition of the Summer Semester 2025 graduates and an extensive showcase of works including films, photographs, books, installations, animations, and performances.

The Merz Berufskolleg für Grafik-Design will also open its doors on campus, presenting the work of students from all three classes.

“Narrative of the Future – Future of the Narrative”Lecture Series / Salon Orange Summer Semester 2025 at the Merz Akademie

How do we tell stories about the future? How will we tell stories in the future? And what role will AI play in all of this?

These are the questions that professors of the Merz Akademie and their guests will explore over the course of five evenings in the Salon Orange – each with a unique focus on different media. The series is curated by Dr. Barbara M. Eggert, Rector of the Merz Akademie and comics scholar.
