Studio FILM BILDER is an independent production company of animated films based in Stuttgart, Germany. Since 1989, the studio under the direction of founder Thomas Meyer-Hermann has been producing animation in almost every conceivable format, including music videos, commercials, short films, feature films and series. The studio stands for individual design, advanced storytelling and a close connection with internationally renowned animated film directors. The work at the studio began with a two-track mindset between art and commerce, leading to projects quickly developing that were driven both by the creativity and enthusiasm of the own creation as well as by the craftsmanship perfection of the commissioned work. 

The four series productions of the last few years: „Tom and the Slice of Bread with Strawberry Jam and Honey“ (Andreas Hykade), „Ich kenne ein Tier“ (various authors), „Patchwork Pals“ (Angela Steffen) and „Animanimals“ (Julia Ocker) are personal works of the film designers. They were created almost entirely by the studio: from the first sketch to the delivery of the finished episodes broadcasted in more than 150 countries around the world. Like the short films, the series prove that artistic ambition and audience success are not contradictory. The studio‘s productions have been awarded 300 festival prizes. The series „Lena’s Farm“ by Elena Walf and the series „Fritzi & Sophie“ in co-production with Balance Film and TrickStudio Lutterbeck, are currently in progress. The studio is also preparing the series „Lamb“, by Gottfried Mentor, the animated documentary „Josef“, by Andreas Hykade, and the animated feature film „Your Spotted Skin“, by Daniel Nocke.
