studio soi is a film production company whose primary focus is on animated film and television series. As an independent German animation studio, our corporate goal is to produce technically skilled, visually sophisticated, and outstanding narrative works in the premium segment of the international market. Since its founding in 2003, studio soi has developed into an international award-winning company with up to 100 employees. Thanks to its Ludwigsburg headquarters, in close proximity to the world-renowned Institute for Animation, the company has an ideal working environment that draws on young talents in combination with extensively experienced staff. 

Previous works include the series “The Amazing World of Gumball, produced with long-term collaborating partner Cartoon Network, as well as a relaunch of “Pumuckl” with NEUE SUPER. Increasingly proprietary formats are in the forefront, e.G. three BBC specials such as “The Gruffalo”, the series “Trudes Tier” and the 26 part TV series “Rasmus Klump”.
